The study of Human Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology forms the cornerstone of pharmaceutical education and provides the essential foundation for understanding the structure, normal functions, and disease processes of the human body. A sound knowledge of these subjects is indispensable for pharmacy students, as it enables them to comprehend the scientific basis of drug action, therapeutic interventions, and patient care. In accordance with the New B.Pharm Syllabus 2026 (PCI–NEP 2020), this textbook has been carefully prepared to meet the academic requirements of first-semester B. Pharm students.
